Gina K. Designs Card Kit & Illustrator Blog Hop: Day Three

Welcome to Day 3! This is the card kit day! This kit is so huge! It features so many incredible stamps and bonus items! Check it out:

This first card features the incentive stamp called scripty encouragement (which is free with qualifying purchase). I used the stencil from the Heartfelt stencil from the kit with pink glitz glitter gel. on a black A2 card base. This card shimmers like nobody’s business! I used the incentive stamp with obsidian ink on Gina K. White. The heart stamp is from Happy Hearts, die cut and colored with copic markers.

This clean and simple design uses the beautiful flowers and the large ‘hello’ sentiment from A Big Hello stamp set. The flowers, stems and leaves were die cut and stamped with slate, sweet corn and whisper on Gina K. white paper and mounted on an A2 white card base. The sentiment is stamped in obsidian ink.

I hope you have a little time to hop around today!

Gina K Designs card Kit & Illustrator blog hop: day 2

While I am not officially hopping today, I figured I would show you bonus cards which I created using my stamp set Happy Hearts

Quick clean and simple card

This clean and simple card features the sentiment from Have Faith and the open heart from Happy Hearts! The heart was colored in with a copic marker to deepen the image. I whipped up this card in less than a minute.

Traditional clean and simple valentine

This card uses the bubble heart on kraft paper. The images were then colored in with a variety of pink copics. Super simple card to replicate!

Check back here tomorrow for day 3 of the card kit release – where I will be featuring cards that will inspire you to want the kit!

Gina K. Designs Card Kit & Illustrator Blog Hop: Day One

Welcome to Day One of the Gina K. Designs Card Kit & Illustrator blog hop! Today I am featuring the new set I designed called Happy Hearts. This set also comes with a coordinating die! The release also features a great new set by Melanie called Embroidered Flowers.

Happy Hearts by Beth Silaika
Coordinating Happy Hearts die set

When I envisioned this set, I thought of all the times when the kids were young when I had to make multiple valentine designs for their class lists. I also thought how nice it would be to have this set for anniversaries, weddings or even thinking of you cards! I try to make my sets so versatile and multi-functional! I want you to get the most bang for your buck!

Clean and simple traditional valentine

The triple swirl circle with the micro-heart is so fun. I love to color in the tiny heart with a glitter pen or a marker! I tried to make it large enough for mix and match sentiments, while keeping it petite and delicate!

Embossed background gives texture and depth

This card uses a moonlit fog base. I love the way the red heart pops off the card! I used a stencil and heat embossed the background with white embossing powder! Sentiment is also heat embossed!

Clean and simple card on kraft

I stamped the heart image and colored with copic markers! Such a clean design, but easy to replicate or switch out sentiments!

Clean and simple

The red card stock just pops off the Ocean Breeze. I stamped the die cut hard with obsidian ink and loved the look with a few black micro-hearts.

Clean and simple sympathy card

I used the triple circle and added a few white gel pen dots and colored in the micro-heart. Sentiment from Layered Eucalyptus. Heart stamped on white and colored with copics.

Clean and simple rainbow hearts

These open hearts are easily colored with copics, watercolors or other markers!

So a few little housekeeping items:

Three step stamping

Clean and simple sympathy card

I love the sentiments in the Gina K Layered Eucalyptus stamp set. I created this clean and simple card using obsidian ink for the sentiment and a combination of blue lagoon, ocean mist and sea glass. Starting with the lightest ink and the largest stamp, I layered the eucalyptus on the ocean mist A2 card base. I love how it slowly comes to life with the multi step stamping.

Sympathy card

Mix and match stamp sets

This sympathy card features the open triangle trees from Holiday Trees and the sentiment from Have faith. I started with a neutral A2 base and used some watercolor paints on a piece of watercolor card stock. The triangle trees were stamped with obsidian ink.

Clean and simple card that can be especially treasured by the recipient.
