Today I am participating in the Gina K Designs September New Release blog hop. Today we are featuring two new sets: Majestic Peony by Hannah and Happy Fall by Emily.
This first card was created for my daughter who is back to college! She embraces all things fall, so this was the perfect sentiment for the card! It almost smells of pumpkin spice!
Can you tell that this is my favorite time of year? These leaves with this sentiment- ack! I’m in love!
Majestic peony will make you swoon! Every card I made with this set made me say wow! I stamped the Peony with skeleton leaves ink and colored with white ink from the Gina k Designs white ink pad with a watercolor brush. I added a few pearls and the sentiment and it was soft and perfect!
This next card is my favorite. I stamped the Peony in barely there ink and then colored with watercolors. I truly love how this one turned out!
Here are the cards which I created for the release party
this car was done with white embossing powder on kraft card stock. I colored with comic markers.
This card was done with the embossing resist technique. I used the brushes to create the background with traditional fall colors.
This card uses a lightly brushed stencil background with the Autumn Splendor kit! The main image was stamped on white and I brushed the edges to make it softer. The black layer makes it pop and the twine gives it that rustic fall feel!
this final card is so simple. I love love love the font used in the forever sentiment! Ack! The leaves are two step stamped and then I added some tiny black beads.
Tomorrow I will be sharing Hannah & Emily’s sets and the samples I created with them! Come back tomorrow!!!
Today there are three graduation parties so I had to whip up some more cards! I love having For the grad on my craft desk this time of year to make personalized cards for these kids!
My first card uses a kraft base with the random dots stencil on the background. I created a tag and distressed with with chocolate ink, stamped with some of the images from the set and the 2019 from Emily’s Cale Toppers set. I wanted a masculine card for Nate, and even though Shen is green, Nate’s favorite color is orange, so I used a hint of orange ribbon with the twill.
Fun idea: use a hint of their favorite color on the card
Next card uses the same background stencil, but I went with green this time to make it look like confetti! I stamped the grad caps All over the background to make it look like they were being tossed in the air! Strip of the same color in card stock with congratulations in black ink! I love this font so much!
Fun idea: customizable cards in school colors are so simple with this set
This last card is also Shen Green! I used a white cap (since that is what the girls wear) and created a focal point with the double circle! Here’s a secret… i stamped it off center so I chopped off a bit of the side of the card to make the circle in the center! Waste not, want not!
Fun idea: use the double circle for a great focal point
Stay tuned for more graduation cards this summer season! this is my graduate this year- Sophie💙💚 is off to high school
If you are anything like me, you have amazing intentions and limited time! I am constantly in a battle between making my own creations and not giving myself the right amount of time to create that perfect card! Today is no exception! We have 12 graduation parties in the next month and two this afternoon! I ran down into my craft area to customize some cards for children of friends!
I turned to my Gina K set For The Grad which is so simple to use for these sixty second cards. I used my Misti to place the sentiment and the grad cap exactly where I wanted them in position on the card and even stamping this multiple times to ensure perfect coverage, it still only took a few seconds to create the final product! I added a simple dot to the top of the cap with a line to connect the tassel and I still had time to customize a matching envelope! Throw in a gift card or check and voila, you’re done!
The second day of the blog hop features so much stuff you are going to go crazy! I am hoping that by using this card it will warm Upstate New York, which has been freezing lately!
This card features the sentiment and the wave stamp from the card kit. I thought it looked like coral on this background! The sentiment is stamped in Gina K. black amalgam ink.
I used some watercolor paints to create a fun background. The base is a sweet corn A2 card. Images stamped in Gina K. black amalgam ink.
This super quick card features the footprints and the sentiment, which totally reminds me of a Zac Brown Song (Toes in the water). The Gina K. ink for the footprints is Sandy Beach and the sentiment is Charcoal Brown.
This A2 Sea Glass background has a watercolor main image. The sentiment is from the Ocean Minded Card kit. The sentiment was stamped with Gina K. black amalgam ink.
This card uses the Mermaid Scales stencil with (LCBB) using Ocean Mist, Turquoise Sea and Blue Lagoon. Vicky Mermaid works perfect with this stenciled background! The sentiment from the card kit is stamped in white ink on black card stock. I used a few tear drop gems using connect glue.
This card features more alcohol ink backgrounds. Hannah’s set had a variety of sentiments which work so well alone with pretty backgrounds. A trifecta of sequins makes the gold leaf on the alcohol ink really pop.
This card is an A2 Dusty Rose base with a layer of Gina K. White layering card stock. I stamped the images and colored with copic markers.

Sometimes when I create a stamp set, I just know it is going to be fun to stamp with it! This set is so versatile – you can use it for everything from The 4th of July to Baby Cards. The set can be used for Holidays and for backgrounds, for teacher and coach cards and birthday celebrations!
Here are some of the samples:
This first clean and simple card uses Wild Dandelion and Jelly Bean Green. I added a few sparkly gems and used the sentiment from the set Sweet Friendship.
This card uses innocent pink and amalgam black inks on the background and white pigment ink on the black sentiment block.
I love experimenting with kraft paper and different color inks. I used the white pigment ink right on the kraft with the open star. I colored in the stars with spectrum noir markers in a variety of colors. The sentiment is stamped in white pigment ink on Gina K. black card stock. There is a small gem attached to the sentiment strip.
This was Bella’s favorite card of the bunch. I used the open star and stamped it in black amgalam ink and colored them in with spectrum noir markers. Sentiment stamped in white pigment ink on black card stock strip
Another Kraft creation with white pigment ink! This was done using the speckled strip from Lisa’s Today And Always set followed by adding some of the solid stars from the All Star set. Make A Wish stamped in black amalgam ink.
Wild Dandelion, Ocean Mist and Black Amalgam ink were used in the creation of this super cute, 2 minute card.
This card uses a jelly bean A2 base. The stars are stamped in Jelly Bean, In The Navy and Ocean Mist.
Now if you missed the the Facebook Live with Gina K. last week, here is a Here is a LINK to replay it! I shared three cards:
This first one is so simple – just randomly stamping the stars in amalgam black ink and then adding the sentiment. This sentiment is from Sweet Friendship. I used a pale turquoise spectrum noir marker to color in the larger stars.
This card features a square innocent pink base with a mix of stars from All Starstamped in moonlit fog and innocent pink inks. The sentiment from Sweet Friendship is stamped in black amalgam ink.
This last All Star sample features a bubblgum pink A2 base. The stars are stamped in sweet mango, bubblegum pink, jelly bean green and ocean mist. The sentiment is stamped in black amalgam ink. I used some cute bakers twine to finish off the card.
Did I overload you with samples?
This is such a great set, it is sure to sit on my desk for many months!

Today I am showing a few cards that I made with Melanie & Lisa’s new sets!
Lisa’s Today And Always
Here is the first card with Melanie’s set:
This would be a great card for my sister or sister-in-law! They are both librarians! It would also make a great card for inserting a book store gift certificate! It would make a great card for your favorite bibliophile!
This second card is perfect for anyone who loves crafts! I used the pencil stamp and colored it and then stamped the I ❤ Crafts along the bottom with inks that coordinated with the pencil colors.
Lisa’s new set features this amazing spatter pattern, flowers and the fun sentiments.
I chose to use Make Today Amazing with Moonlit Fog on innocent pink. Such a great combo! I used a little twine to finish the card. Love how the sentiments can me mixed and matched. Since Today is so huge I was able to put make sideways!
I was playing around with a scrap of paper and some of the beautiful Gina K. inks in purples. I never play with purple, but I created this background with sponge daubers and stamped the stars from my set with Gina K. white ink. The sentiment went with it perfectly and mounted on a white A2 base, it looks clean & beautiful!
Now I am not going to tell you what to do, but if I wanted to have a chance to win a $50 gift card for something on my Gina K. wishlist, I would hop around and leave a comment on all the blogs! You can start here by telling me that you enjoyed these cards and that you Pinky-Promise that you will stop by tomorrow to see my new stamp set and all the beautiful creations which our design team made with them!
