Gina K. Designs Illustrator and Card Kit Blog Hop October 2019: Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of the Gina K. Designs Illustrator and Card Kit Blog Hop!

The Warm Winter Wishes card kit
Tall Pines
Tall Birch
Seasonal Greetings incentive stamps

This first card features Gina K. Designs Metallic Blush embossing powder on the red velvet card stock. I used the small circles, open circles and the snowflake stamp to create a confetti type design around the Warm Winter Wishes sentiment.

Fun Idea: Heat emboss with metallic embossing powder to add sparkle and shine

Here is another card using Gina K. Designs Metallic Blush embossing powder, but this time on Gina K Designs ivory card base. Love the elegance of this color combination. This one uses a birthday sentiment, which makes this card kit so versatile!

This card uses a navy base and the Tall pines stamp set. I embossed with the Gina K. Designs silver embossing powder and love the look of the silver and blue together. This card also features the Seasonal Greetings Incentive set. This could be yours free with qualifying purchase!

Gina K. Designs October Release Party

In case you missed the October release party live you can watch the replay on Facebook. I shared a few cards to the Gina K. Designs friends page, but you can see them all here! If you want to see all of What’s New at Gina K. Designs this month, click here.

Here are a couple of the cards which I created to share at the release party! Enjoy!

Fun Idea: emboss snowflakes on the background and use the brushes to resist the ink and make them pop!

Fun Idea: Alcohol inks for a background. This was my alcohol ink background that almost ended up in the trash but I salvaged it with the beautiful Tall Pines stamp set!
Closer look: Check out the deep black ink!
Fun Idea: Use Lisa’s stamp image from You being you as an ornament

Stop back tomorrow for the first day of a 3 day blog hop!

Gina K. Designs November 2018 New Release Blog Hop: Day Two

Welcome to day two of the new release blog hop! Today we are featuring Emily’s A Very Merry Christmas and Snowbirds by Alicia

The birds are quite easy to color! This was stamped in the Gina K. Black amalgam ink and colored with copics.

This card features a cherry red base stamped with the black amalgam ink.  I used the black and white bakers twine for the top of the card. Finally I colored the stamped sentiment with copics to give it some depth!

What do you think of the cards today? Leave a comment below, then stop by and see what the other designers have created! You will be in the running for a $50 gift certificate!

Gina K. Designs November 2018 New Release Blog Hop: Day One

Welcome to the Gina K. Designs November 2018 New Release Blog Hop! Today we are featuring two sets:

Reasons to Celebrate and Old Fashioned Christmas

The first set is by Gina and it features some adorable MINI images that have coordinating sentiments.  Might I even call them MICRO images. They are adorable.  Almost as adorable as new puppies.  I have had two friends get puppies this past month, so I used this release as an excuse to make a puppy card! This is an A2 card using innocent pink. The sentiment and paw prints are stamped in black! I colored the paws in light brown. The twine I used on the top reminded me of a chew rope!

The second card features the snow covered vintage car from Hannah’s Old Fashioned Christmas set.  I stamped the image on a kraft A2 card base and colored with copic markers. I used poster paint for the snow because my gel pen dried up! (note to self, buy another white gel pen!)

What do you think of my samples? Leave a comment below, then stop by and see a few others by amazing designers! You will be in the running for a $50 gift certificate! Wahooo!  Buy a white gel pen!
